DALY SMITH
Daly is an architect residing in Macon, Georgia. He approaches his art much as he does his architecture - striving to create a design that is both beautiful and simple by identifying and emphasizing the key elements. His ability to pare down the essentials of a scene is one of the hallmarks of his style.
Growing up in Macon, Daly loved to draw and his interest lead him to Georgia Tech where he earned a degree in Architecture. After college he returned to Macon where he is the owner of his own architectural firm.
He resumed his love of art in 1992 studying with local artist Marianne Dunn. More recently he has studied at the Art Students League of New York and taken workshops and studied with nationally prominent artists including Bill Davidson, David Leffel, Ken Auster, and Mark Boedges.
